Consultation
Let’s work together.
I am pleased to collaborate with other professionals. I love teaching and presenting and am happy to be creative in meeting your needs. I have expertise in the areas of trauma and burnout, and am available to consult, present, or supervise on these topics. Some possibilities:
Providing expert guidance to you or your group about burnout and burnout prevention (reduced rates/pro bono possibilities for graduate student groups!)
Delivering education to you or your group about trauma fundamentals, ways of integrating trauma-focused techniques into clinical work, or working with dissociation.
Individual case consultation/supervision for more complicated clinical presentations (e.g., suspected dissociation/clarification of a dissociative diagnosis).
Formal EMDR consultation; as a consultant-in-training, I am able to provide individual consultation that can be used toward certification.
Adjunctive treatment on a case that would benefit from a time-limited, trauma-focused approach—e.g., EMDR.
Many more—I’m happy to work with you to figure out how to best meet your needs in one or more of these areas!
FAQS
Common questions about adjunctive treatment
-
Yes! Adjunctive treatment means that I work alongside; you remain the primary therapist.
-
Unlike my individual therapy clients, adjunctive work with me is designed to be time-limited and utilizes exclusively trauma-focused approaches: most frequently, EMDR. I also maintain good communication and collaboration with the referring provider, keeping them in the loop at all times.
-
There is no one answer to this, but all adjunctive treatment should be time-limited and extremely goal-focused; with the ultimate goal of furthering the primary treatment.
